For some parents, the very thought of introducing their toddler to a strange, formal portrait studio is a daunting thought. For some, especially those like us who live an hour from the nearest Wal Mart Portrait Studio, the drive itself is enough to postpone family portraits to avoid a melt down.
So, instead of opening a storefront studio, they choose to photograph their clients in their most comfortable, natural environment, doing what they love. Locations can be at a person’s home, or outside. A formal studio set up can be provided inside, if desired. This approach works well for families, and helps preserve those moments in time that often pass too quickly.
Great photos are taken in homes, places where people feel most comfortable, and have meaning to them.
