Photographers……there are many of “Them” out there. All of them take pictures of something- people, pets, landscapes, items. There are various marketing strategies “they” use, and there are a few typical approaches to get the job done.
We are different. In fact, our goal is to set ourselves apart from the competition. We could follow the time-tested proven models, but those seem to work most effectively when you have money to invest in your business- and frankly, we don’t…at least, not a lot of it.

We offer a 100% Money Back Guarantee on the day we deliver your portraits, if you’re not satisfied. You may only be reimbursed for prints, not session fees.
We still give you hard copies of your edited proofs. Everyone else is going to online proofing these days, because it’s convenient for people. While we realize that this is true, we prefer to include printed proofs in your package because, in a sense- you get “extra prints”. People order a print package with “X” number of sheets to choose from (one poes per sheet)…but what happens if you liked another picture, but you have no more sheets available? Well, the solution is that you now have a printed proof in your hands. However, we can still accomodate the customers who would like online proofing options, just ask!
We travel to where our clients are. We do not operate out of a storefront studio. Today’s busy families sometimes don’t have the time to travel to a portrait studio. Also, with today’s economy, we also save our customers gas money by meeting them at their homes, or location of their choice. It is not only convenient, it adds a hint of sentiment to your photographs. A formal studio setup can be created in the comfort of your own home, if you’d prefer.
We deliver your prints in person. Most of the time, when customers are ready to get their prints, they go somewhere to pick them up (studio, office etc). Alternatively, photographers mail the photos to them. While this is a nice option for those who don’t want to come to the studio, we fell that it’s a bit impersonal. In order to maintain our commitment to “convenience” for our customers, we like to hand deliver them. This allows us to get two way communication from our customers regarding their experience, what they really think of their portraits, and scheduling another session. It also saves gas for our customers.
We are not a chain. We are a husband and wife team, running a “mom&pop” style photography company. We know our clients by name. We remember their faces, and often times, we become friends.
Sometimes, portraits can be expensive (and as stated above, time consuming). We offer alternatives that break through both of those issues. Portrait Parties are a fast, easy way fo ra hostess to earn a free portrait and print package when guest sales reach a minimum of $50. Guests to the parties enjoy a 15-30 minute professional shoot, and are provided with several packages to purchase from. It is a fun way for friends/families and co-workers to get together, have their memories captured for a lifetime, and for hostesses to earn a completely free package. Portrait Parties also make great birthday parties. In fact, themes can be chosen to make them more interesting.
We offer photo restoration services. People are always coming across old photographs that belonged to mom and dad, or grandma and grandpa. Unfortunately, some of these photos may have been damaged by environmental factors, or improper storage and handling. Let us restore your photos for you. We can even turn them into a DVD slideshow for you to enjoy!
